Yoga Ceremony - with Tirza Dawn

Monday 9:15-10:45am - This class is a journey, guiding practitioners into meditation, breathwork, and postures that help to relax and strengthen the mind and body. Many styles of yoga are utilized here, including the balance of Iyengar structural alignment with the flow of Tri Yoga. Local musicians and sound healers are often featured, making this a unique yoga experience where all levels are welcome and encouraged.

Yoga for trauma relief - with Rebecca Sarino (Siri Gobind Kaur)

Monday 6:15 - 7:30 pm - This class is a practice that supports re-regulating the sympathetic nervous system, strengthening the body, and soothing the soul. In addition to pranayama (breath work) and asana (postures for stretching and strengthening), these classes can include chanting, and guided meditations for deep relaxation. These practices will support you in your healing process while enhancing your overall well-being, vitality, and sense of peace.

These classes are FREE to individuals impacted by the wildfires of 2017/8. Other individuals and community members who would benefit and wish to participate, may attend this class by donation.

Double Happiness Morning Naam - with Akiva Satnarayan

Tuesday 9:15-10:45am - Expanding your vitality and mindfulness with Naam Yoga, creating Full body and soul opening, through breath, movement and sound harnessing clarity and balance, completing with a meditative flow and a sense of inner peace (Open to all levels).

Shakti NaAm - with Akiva Satnarayan

Wednesday 6:15-7:45pm - The yoga of removing obstacles, clearing karmic imprints, infusing vitality and youthfulness. In this class You will re set your physical, emotional and spiritual system to a vital state, with movement, breath work and sound, folding into a place of calmness and aliveness you have not experienced for ages.

Seva Wednesday*by donation- with Oanh Truong 

Wednesday 12:00-1:00pm Oanh T. is a 200-hr certified Ayurvedic yoga instructor, bringing an emphasis on alignment-based asana, linking breath and movement. Heart: Come join Oanh in our collective healing during this one hour rejuvenating, alignment-based restorative yoga class every Wednesday at the dhyana Center from 12 to 1. In this class, you will learn self-soothing techniques that will empower you to move through the inner and outer landscapes of our world with a greater sense of abundance and connection.  This class is an all-levels class and especially beneficial for those feeling nervous about entering a yoga space or those who need support in self-calming techniques

Good morning Kundalini yoga - with nicole ward (guru karam kaur)

Thursday 9:15-10:45am - Join Nicole/Guru Karam for Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. This specific type of yoga (the Yoga of Awareness) is often called the Science of the Chakras and works to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purify the blood – all within a transformational and awakening experience that provides a radiant sense of well-being. Familiar tools such as meditation and chanting are combined with yoga sets (kriyas), guided visualization, and more in a journey of the senses and Soul.

Peak Flow - with Mary Kate

Friday 9:15-10:45am - Peak Flow is a strong and complete all-levels Vinyasa experience. Classes are designed with intentional sequencing, building to a peak pose while accompanied by music selected to uplift and support the practice. Always grounded in breath, students can journey deeper into their truth and experience a more blissful state of being.

Morning Magic Naam - with Akiva Satnarayan

Saturday 9:15-10:45am -  This magical yoga practice in the tradition of of Sukshma Vyayama – or the yoga of positive projection through “the word” provides diffusion of old beliefs and wounds, increase vitality levels and rejuvenate one’s mental physical and emotional body. It is transformation itself of healing, renewal and clarity of purpose.

Sunday Sadhana Flow - with Meredith Rom

Substitution: Mary Kate on October 6, 2019 and Tirza on October 13, 2019.

Sunday 9:15-10:45am - Join us on Sunday mornings for a strengthening and heart opening hatha yoga practice. Leave feeling more expansive, compassionate, and connected to spirit. This practice brings focus to yoga principles of alignment, breath awareness and chanting with the harmonium. Modifications will be offered to make poses approachable for a student at any level.

Tirza Dawn  Tirza Dawn is a co-founder of both the Ayurveda Yoga Teacher Training and the Body Temple Yoga programs at the dhyana Center. With over 20 years experience practicing and teaching yoga, she offers in-depth instruction from many styles and perspectives, including Iyengar, Tri Yoga and Vinyasa. Through asana, satya, and pranayama, her teaching focuses on the mind/body-connection, and finding pathways to self love and the devotional heart.

Tirza Dawn

Nicole brings a wealth of experience and yogic knowledge to her classes, deep connection to the spiritual principles of yoga, excellent music and great yoga humor as she takes you deep into the soul of the practice. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Nicole is dedicated to helping each student connect with the practice of Yoga in a deep and profound way.

Akiva Satnarayan  Akiva Satnarayan is an intuitive healer, Business Coach, and a teacher’s trainer of Naam Yoga Therapies.
