Irie Yoga is the unification of the heart, mind, body and soul through breath, movement and awareness. Iris teaches a core centered, energy driven class designed to teach alignment to support the flow of prana through creative and sometimes challenging sequencing. Inversions and arm balances are presented as a way of integrating the core and developing strength with modifications for all levels.
Shakti Naam Yoga
The yoga of removing obstacles, clearing karmic imprints, infusing vitality and youthfulness. In this class You will re set your physical, emotional and spiritual system to a vital state, with movement, breath work and sound, folding into a place of calmness and aliveness you have not experienced for ages.
Double Happiness – Morning Naam Yoga
Expanding your vitality and mindfulness with Naam Yoga, creating Full body and soul opening, through breath, movement and sound harnessing clarity and balance, completing with a meditative flow and a sense of inner peace (Open to all levels).
Morning Magic Naam for Focus & Healing
This magical yoga practice in the tradition of of Sukshma Vyayama – or the yoga of positive projection through “the word” provides diffusion of old beliefs and wounds, increase vitality levels and rejuvenate one’s mental physical and emotional body. It is transformation itself of healing, renewal and clarity of purpose.
This class is a journey, guiding practitioners into meditation, breathwork, and postures that help to relax and strengthen the mind and body. Many styles of yoga are utilized here, including the balance of Iyengar structural alignment with the flow of Tri Yoga. Local musicians and sound healers are often featured, making this a unique yoga experience where all levels are welcome and encouraged.
Restorative Sound Healing
Led by Hari Darshan Kaur & Bree Watson
Restorative Sound Healing soothes the nervous system, heightens body awareness, is meditative and introspective. Please get comfortable laying down with cushions, blankets and eye pillows while being bathed in the magical sounds of didgeridoo, crystal and Tibetan bowls, flutes, chimes, drums, and more. Sound vibrations are extremely healing and relaxing, each class is unique and personalized to the group. “The vibrations [of sound] can relax brain-wave patterns, lower heart rate, reduce stress and pain, relieve anxiety and sometimes help with post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms.” (The New York Times) All are welcome.
In this class, we combine breath, visualization, and prayer to cultivate embodied empowerment & praise. Rapid and gentle movements aid in charging the energetic body, clearing blockages, claiming boundaries, and releasing old belief patterns. Through opening the heart, Naam creates a positivity and self-love that is immune to outside influence. Naam is a healing gift to the self, and is a tool for higher alignment & manifestation. All levels and abilities are welcome and encouraged.
