Tarot can be a powerful tool to aid you in answering life’s questions, yet you might think an innate skill or psychic ability are necessary to benefit from tarot wisdom. But anyone can use the cards for any question they have or when they just need to discern the next best step. No superpowers are required.
Here’s a story of a fictitious individual named Daisy, who decides to use the tarot to help her make sense of an ordinary issue.
Daisy met a guy last week, a man somewhat ungrounded and spacey yet she felt there was an emotional connection and a possible affinity. She sensed mutual attraction; yet his unreal projections and the acceptance that ‘everything is cool’ made her question the practicality and validity of the connection, wondering if there is potential for a healthy, strong connection.
She decided to put matters to a test with a three-card spread, with a focus at the middle card – the “destiny spread”, looking at what may be a possible outcome of the encounter.
The spread revealed the following:
The card she drew that represented her was The Empress card. This card depicts a vivacious, creative woman, who is in touch with a maternal reality. Her potential dating ‘material’ was cast as an idealistic man with his head up in the sky, The Fool card, a bit unreal and not very grounded. The destiny card in the middle, two of cups, revealed emotional connection and a favorable possibility for a union – they say that opposites attract!
Why did Daisy choose this spread over any other?
What may be a full “mapping” of a destiny spread?
