The Doctor from India is a special portrait of the life and practice of Dr. Vasant Lad, DeAnna’s teacher and a holistic health pioneer who first brought the ancient medical practice of Ayurveda from India to the west in the late 1970s.

According to Ayurveda, the emotional body can be cleansed the same way we purify the physical body. Through the act of allowing the passages through which our emotions flow to be tended allow the constricted energy to circulate.

Each week of the series you will be introduced to a new practice to track our emotional body to these passages, release constricted emotions and bring your inner landscape to a restored place of health and balance. You will both offer and receive in a supportive and collaborative setting.
