We offer three sessions of Ayurvedic Education in two different formats; two-week intensives or several monthly weekend Ayurvedic Programs. The three sessions together constitute a broad, rich curriculum, and we offer a discounted tuition for those who register for all three sessions. We offer a student payment plan (pdf document) and work scholarships. We also hold weekly low-cost community clinics, which are a great learning experience for everyone!

dhyana Center's Ayurvedic practitioners blend the philosophy of Ayurveda with the application of Medicinal Aromatherapy to create a unique and individualized approach to health care. The dhyana Center was born from a desire to educate each individual about how the body functions and what can be done to stay healthy.

We offer both Pancha Karma and Ayurvedic treatments and bodywork at our Sebastopol Retreat in Sonoma County, Northern California.

The philosophy of Ayurveda is a unique approach that provides specific individualized information about health. By utilizing the elements (Hot, Cold, Wet, and Dry) and the Doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) balance can be achieved.

 
Teachers
DeAnna lovingly credits the many teachers and life experiences that have guided her on her path. Especially deserving of mention are Michael Tierra, Marcel Lavabre, and Dr. Lopsang Rapgay (a Tibetan monk who helped create a foundation for in-depth pulse assessment ), Swami Niranjanada Paramahansa (who provided the opportunity to do clinical work at the Bihar School of Yoga in India), and Dr. Lad (with whom she became certified as an Ayurvedic practitioner ).
